Our Quality Assurance System and SafetyMSQA and AQIS approved HACCP systems control every aspect of the production of Meltique products at Hastings Food Processing.We have a full time government AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Service) Inspector on site as well as monthly audits by the AQIS Area Technical Manager. Hastings Food Processing is AUS MEAT accredited. All products are processed in a temperature controlled environment of 9 degrees C. Product temperature checks are carried out throughout load in, production and load out. The highest standards of hygiene and quality assurance are maintained through our fully equipped laboratory. All products are microtested forTPC (Total Plate Count), Coliforms, E-Coli, Salmonella, Staphlococci and E Coli O157-H7.Our Organoleptic procedure ensures that the taste, texture and appearance of each product is tested. |
